Do you build Passive House or Net Zero homes in New Brunswick?

Yes. I'm a Certified Passive House Tradesperson and a Net Zero builder. Every home I build starts from the same approach: continuous insulation outside the framing, one unbroken airtight layer, and balanced HRV ventilation for fresh air. How far you take it, from a solid code-built home up to full Passive House certification, is your call and your budget's.

Can you build from plans I already have?

Yes. If you have drawings from an architect or designer, I'll quote from them. If you don't, I can help you get there and give building science advice on the assemblies and site layout before anything is final.

How do I know the house performs the way you say it will?

It gets tested. A blower-door test before drywall catches air leaks while they're still easy to fix, and a final test confirms the number. You get every result in writing, along with photos of what's inside the walls.

Does a high-performance home cost more to build?

Usually about 10 to 15% more up front than a standard code-built home. That difference comes back in lower heating bills, comfort, and a house that stays dry and lasts. I'd rather show you the numbers for your house than give a blanket answer.

How long does a custom home take to build?

Construction usually takes 5 to 7 months. Planning, permits and any certification reviews can add time before and after that, and I'll lay the whole timeline out for you before we start.
